ISRO developed Real Time Train Information System for Indian Railways 2022-23
To overcome this problem and to improve its latency, Indian Railways has started a new RTIS i.e. Real Time Train Information System in association with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Under which the real-time Train location System equipment has been installed in 2700 locomotives. This system updates the location of the train every 30 seconds and with the installation of this system, the train officials as well as the general public will get the latest information about the train status (Location).

Future plan Real Time Train Information System ISRO
Let us tell you that in the coming time in this episode, an additional 6000 more locomotives will be connected with this using ISRO’s SATCOM hub. Which will improve the Indian train and its timing.
